Fantastic Female Filmmakers
This documentary is assembled from found footage, images, and documents. I did all of the research and wrote the voice over script in addition to stitching the film together.
Voice
A political protester becomes injured in the throat and must find a new voice. We join Eric Hopper in the experience of losing what was once considered to be most precious and gaining an illuminating insight in exchange. Short entirely in the city of Cleveland, OH on a Canon 5D MkII. Written/Directed by J. Andrew Thames with Robert Reiland as the Director of Photography.
Souvenir
A travel log style, short documentary about my trip to Alaska. For the first time in nearly ten years everyone came home for Christmas. To make it more memorable, it was also my step-children's first visit to my hometown. We hit the tourist spots and had a great time. I hope you do too when you make the journey to the last frontier.
